Palliative Care Education for Health Care Aides/Home Support Workers

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) has developed a Training Manual for Home Support Workers, an educational program for Home Support Workers working with a palliative care patient population. The curriculum is available for purchase on the CHCPA Marketplace http://www.chpca.net/

Need support to deliver this education?

If your organization is looking for support in delivering this curriculum to your home support workers/health care aides, the RPCP would be happy to consider your request for assistance, subject to availability of an RPCP clinician and considerations for travel. An RPCP clinician would assist by co-presenting curriculum material with your Trainer to prepare the Trainer to deliver future workshops independently. Please visit RPCP's website at http://www.palliative.org/PC/Edu/PC%20Education%20SR.html to request assistance.
